This might bring you more up to date on extraction from Clay.
There are now multiple alternative processes for the extraction.
$$$$ are being spent improving and refining DLE techniques. Not just by Cypress, but by Gangfeng, LAC etc.
While hard rock is the best resource right now, there is not going to be anywhere near enough hard rock Lithium around - especially in the US.
