Absolutely not - just nervous holders being scared away by the big guys and no 'new news' to give SP any support. I think the volatility of this stock any time it gets a decent spike says it all. However, if you are a long term investor/holder, it's a very different story - as has been previously said here, nothing goes up in a straight line.
As to your original question, I really don't think federal politics have any influence here - any suggestion otherwise is just bulls##t and mischief making IMO.
