I meant "mug' in a tongue- in- cheek way. Like "punter". Very few of us have the specialised technical skills that successful speculation mining juniors requires. And probably no one individual has ALL the skills necessary. I was simply drawing attention to the fact that a company like AngloGold Ashanti is better placed to make an informed bet, than most of us are as individual speculators. I include myself in the "mug" category. However, I do like to follow the smart money.
