i cant see any reason for wonarah to be channeled thru LCY, save for the often touted FIRB benefit (which really is a non event if they only want 50pc anyway...)
and if it turns out that it is, i absolutely cannot see current LCY holders benefiting much... as someone else said, why would they put up all that cash just to line your pockets?
as a MAK holder i'm extremely wary of these indian developments, and if i were an LCY holder i would be also.
yeah, wonarahs main hurdle may well soon be dealt with (funding secured) but i strongly believe that this partnership is NOT the golden goose many believe it to be.
my 2c anyway..
