The half yearly really can only be a summation of the last two quarterlies. I dont expect any good or bad news. I just expect steady news. The MAIN number I care about is the EBITDA (which I only first saw from them in that recent presentation). So they have tidied back their over capitalisation, back to a sustainable, manufacture and sell... along with their services.
To be honest I would like them to start publishing their services 'book'. Like mining services companies do.
What would be a fun excersise (maybe impossible) is to value the company on fundamentals. Like one values BHP or Telstra. One would need to make a lot of futuristic assumptions.... some growth number of product. Some baseline revenue on services, etc. The services side is notoriously undervalued on the ASX. Service companies can trade on a PE of like 4 or 5. Everyone thinks: what if all their service contracts cease. That is why service companies show their 'book'.... we have 800 mill of contract this year, and 900 mill for next year, and we completed 100 mill, but replaced it with 200 mill, etc.
Lumos has a service contract for 4.7 mill to Hologic that they just signed - over the next 18 months. What else do they have 'in the bag'.
Anyway, what is the 'value' of this bloody thing. I know it is a fair bit more than 7.7 cents!
