Hologic are astute operators and are not handing money over to LDX as a charity, they are paying for the IP for just one disease.
If anything its a huge smoke signal as to what their IP and intangibles are worth, likely multiples of the $10.5M USD recorded on their balance sheet.
Its impossible to predict where the shareprice will go but 3c is a lot better than buying in at $1.25 when they listed.
