Correct. Based on the recent FDA approval announcement:

"With this clearance in hand, we anticipate securing our first commercial orders in the US before the end of calendar year 2023. In the meantime, we are continuing to work with distribution partners and potential licensees, as well as establish our own focused sales effort, as we prepare to launch FebriDx in the US.”

Clearly not about finding partners, but about the US release of the product. This would be the next announcement expected. I wouldnt be surprised if its via Hologic, but another distribution partner would be ideal. DW already said they aren't going to be able to compete with the big pharma in this space, so whether an agreement on use of the product through big pharma or smaller niche channels is targeted?

They should likely have secured distribution partners and/or licensees prior to end of December (more with Hologic etc)

Given they have distribution partners around the world including Canada across the border, you wouldn't think it difficult to secure further distribution partners.

The big questions is, via these channels, what is the ongoing order base for FebriDX and ViraDX for that matter? Cost is around $25aud per device. Likely to generate reasonable revenue through this and other test kits?

US is a no brainer with cost of a GP without health insurance at $150-$450 per visit plus cost of unnecessary antibiotics, you would think that the distribution efforts and approvals would be focused on outside of the hospital/gp office testing to save people substantial healthcare costs and reduce the use of antibiotics etc..
