I'm pretty sure all codes are in the process as required.
1st pic - In 2021 FebriDx was discussed as using an existing code then new CPT code post FDA clearance. Approx. reimbursement assumed back then was $16.
2nd pic - In 2022 ViraDx had new CPT code and $31 reimbursement.
3rd pic - In 2023 AMA document of PLA codes, FebriDx appears to have a dedicated PLA code
4th pic, In 2023 webinar Lumos mention PLA code approved and CPT codes identified and need to be tested. Possibly this is part of the CLIA waiver process and being used in a clinical setting by doctors who use reimbursements.
I assume it is all part of the process and Lumos has things in hand, and applying for a new product you would assume a check box for whether it goes under an existing code or a new one.
Lumos just received a $20m aud contract with a major US company because it is professional, and I assume these little details like applying for codes would just be business as usual.
