May not even need the involvement of a doc too - a nurse with a few years experience could decide when to do the test - within certain bounds of a good checklist - patient never sees the doc. Healthcare can evolve. Huge savings, for patient, insurer and government. More efficient patient care too, for patient and health care provider. Also these patients with respiratory issues have to wear a surgical mask. Really better for them to be dealt with faster.
