As mentioned in the above attached, Microbial resistance to antibiotics (AMR) is a real, present and global problem which is being fought on a global scale by pretty much all govt of the world. On a global scale, we can see some significant global support in the fight against AMR.

Additionally, and more locally to the USA, LDX has already garnered support from BARDA (a subset of the USA Gov Department of Health) in the form of a USA $3 million dollar grant to support the LDX CLIA waiver (see images below). A potential total contract value of over USA $ 8 millions dollars is also on offer from BARDA.

IMO, if the USA Govt Department of Health and Human Services (BARDA) is supporting LDX in their work and products, then it is highly likely that other USA government departments and other USA medical institutions will also support LDX in their work and products (for example, IMO it would not make sensefor the American Medical Association (AMA) to not provide support if BARDA is already providing support).

So if we can assume that support from one USA government department would translate into support more broadly, then we can assume that the PLA code reimbursement should be successful. As such, IMO it is highly likely that the PLA code reimbursement will be granted as a contributing measure in the global fight against AMR.

The PLA reimbursement news is due at any moment.

Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA)

BARDA had awarded LDX USA $2.98 million to support the CLIA waiver, with a potential total of USA $8.25 million available.

Another relatively strong day of trading for LDX. That make 2 in a row.

Like i said, IMO, LDX seems significantly undervalued at these levels, and IMO, there exits a lot of upside potential in the share price, especially if we get some of those announcements which are due.

Note - US $5.7 million = approx. AUD $8.7 million.

AUD $8.7 million cash on hand + AUD $6.9 million proceeds from retail offer = AUD $15.6 million dollars.

According to the quarterly, as of 30 September 2024, LDX has approx $15.6 million AUD cash balance on hand.

That also does not include the US $3.0 million grant that has been awarded for the CLIA waiver study (approx AUD $4.6 million).

If we include the grant, then cash available would be approx: AUD $20.2 million cash.
LDX current market cap is appprox: AUD $25 million

Very basic calculation, but IMO, it gives a very clear indication that LDX is currently significantly undervalued.

A reimbursement on the cost to purchase and use FebriDx could boost sales of FebriDx very quickly.

Also, the CLIA waiver grant includes another approx US $5 million dollars which i believe LDX will work to pick up within the next 12 months.

Also, LDX have been far from static in their achievements and announcements to the market about new opportunities and/or ventures, so it would be reasonable to assume that LDX are currently working on generating new business opportunities and/or expanding on current opportunities.

IMO, there are a lot of positive aspects to LDX's current position. IMO, the fundamental business case is sound, and is being executed as we speak.

When that 'PLA Reimbursement' announcement hits, we are taking off IMO (or who knows, we may not even need that catalyst as we definitely seem significantly undervalued at present IMO).
