Considering that iridium is a far more capable telcom satellites with TRUE global reach then logically the numbers claimed by SAS would seems to be unrealistic. If remote and impoverished people make such good lucrative customers then surely iridium would have been able to capitalize on it already...I think people needs reminding that as of now, SAS commercial viability remain unproven and everything is still deep speculation.
