As I said Froggy, primary aim for changing leaders is winning the next election, Turnbull has addressed concerns of the far right over the ETS and SSM which are their main sticking points and the fact he could lead to an election win will win them over.

IMO Turnbull as PM and Morrison as treasurer would a great team and pave the way for Morrison to take over from Turnbull at a later date. This could see labor in opposition for 2-3 terms more at least
