If I wanted to short sell this market, which I don't, I'd look at either the inflation figures or wages growth. Anything that could increase interest rates.

So since Australia is way behind the US in both interest rate and abnormal stimulus I think we might be many years away from higher rates.

So think 10 years or more

Talk of shorting markets at this point I believe is very premature therefore riding the market is the obvious clear and present opportunity. As we've witnessed, any significant downward market movement in the US quickly reversed, such is the strength in buyers. Markets achieve better returns than most anywhere else. The lower the interest rates the greater the interest in markets.
