I politely disagree with you there. The episode in late 2018 was a market correction by definition. Being a fall of less than or equal to 20%. Numerous corrections form part of the natural sequence of all bull markets throughout history. In addition, all of my traffic lights were green from 2009 through 2018 and into 2019. In mid 2019, traffic lights 1 and 2 turned amber then a few months later turned red.

I am not interested in market corrections. I am interested in the long cycle of bull markets and bear markets.

Speculation - the forming of a theory or conjecture without firm evidence. Not my cup of tea.

I have learnt (the hard way) to switch off all noise. My traffic lights is the firm evidence I will rely on from here. Nice and boring, mundane and sleep inducing. All other noise is netflix in my book. Designed to entertain the masses.

Just looking at the charts vic. Charts don't deceive if you know what to look for.

I haven't shorted markets for a long time. Too many anomalies.
