Actually, I think normal people want speed and price, comfort a little less so.
The rest apart from VIP area is BS.
Transport will change based on market forces and disruption
I am going to Sydney shortly.
I am driving because planes and trains are not quick enough and cheap enough.
This is not because of technology its because of bad business models and bad management.
There are reasons why planes should be a lot cheaper but executives are deluded in what they think people want. I think many where caught out by the success of budget airlines. Lot of disruption to go there. Lot of disruption in the train industry to in terms of mobility. People are driving far too much because of managerial incompetence!!
Aircraft service needs to be a lot more mobile and flexible as do train services
