Thanks for sharing those new OBJ patent treasures with us last week Jase - I do have to confess I completely missed your post with the intitial 2.

I've spent a considerable amount of time over these past few days researching across a variety of promising technologies and without going into much detail I would report that I have absolutely no doubt OBJ will prove a leading force in the paradigm shift that will make a significant global impact over the next decade.

I don't wish to ramp the stock nor do I care to make any bullish sp predictions of 50c or 40c or even 30c before the end of year. Imho, I'd probably be satisfied to see a sustained support level of 10c post receipt of out first locked in deal but in the absence of any such anticipated news we must also be prepared to accept the risks.

OBJ are known for their expertise in the design and development of transdermal drug delivery technology, however we should not be too quick to dismiss any subtle expansion of opportunities being indicated for a promising outlook ahead… Additionally, I should also add (for any newbies reading this) that our good MD during a one on one with our dedicated HC team represetative, 1sharetrader1 at the AGM recently passed comment saying "a lot of the speculation posted on hotcopper has been way off the mark" - so as one who certainly would have contributed a substantial amount of this "way off the mark" speculation it should only further emphasize the importance of doing ones own research before making investment decisions.

To the L/Termers reading this who are quite familiar with OBJ story and the progression announced to date, I've arrived at one conclusion with regards to Glyn's comment, as the majority of research I undertake is structured towards minimizing errors.

So on that basis I concluded that it provided me a small lead for where I might best revise some of my old files.

To offer one example in case I've confused anyone, when sourcing additional info on OBJ's Senior Research Scientist we can find through published papers that he is collaborating with among others across 3 teams, co-author, Brotchie from Torronto, Canada and world renoun scientist, Prof. Gordon from the University of Birmingham and we will also be able to confirm that the trials currently under way to establish if MDMA cures blood cancers' which continues attracting global headlines.

So with this info we may present a story comprising both factual and circumstantial or speculation which may be presented as facts subsidiary to or connected with the main fact.

However, from an objective pov we must still accept that:

    1. OBJ have not announced any infomation so on this point alone we may already be way off the mark?

    2. OBJ is a drug delivery company and not considered by the market as a promising new Cancer drug discovery unit also? A poster actually raised this valid point when the story was first posted some time ago, however...

... as this was raised a while ago now and as I've highlighted this very promising early stage clinical trial continues to attract global media attention question #2 has been answered in today's news which first broke yesterday and I've provided the link to at the botton of this post.

It's worth keeping an eye out for any new words or phrasing in announcements or updates on the website and there have been a few over more recent weeks/months.

The following I wish to add without further commentary. I do not even wish to speculate so for arguments sake to those new to OBJ please either use this info for conducting your own research or alternatively please assume it is not related in any way to OBJ... Our MD

focused on the development and commercialisation of transdermal, transmembrane, drug delivery and product performance enhancement technologies. ..

The following abstracts I have organiszed in chronological order so others may also agree things are certainly starting to expose the fast expanding opportunities for which OBJ's technology platform is being opened up to the world for now...

I believe it was in fact our MD who recently wanted to emphasize to all the word of the year...

"applications" - and I like it a lot!

"a magnetic array for use in brushes, applicators and devices that are moved by the consumer as part of normal usage behaviour. The moving magnetic fields generate energy which is redirected to enhance product performance. Well suited to brushes, scrubs, wipes, applicators and various consumer manipulation devices."

"Structures within the micro-array are developed to enhance delivery of active ingredients and to focus these at structures and pathways …"

...partnering services in the creation of next generation products in Advanced industrial surface interface systems...

November just gone OBJ s/holders were presented imo with what I consider was a first time real indication for where OBJ have been leading the paradigm shift...

The structure of the 3-D magnetic fields are designed to match the molecular property of the formulation and film can be cut and incorporated into an almost infinite number of products

    2012 – 3M Corporation - 3D-in-Motion

"Traditional point-and-click digital technology has been around for more than 20 years. However‚ the Lava C.O.S. is the only system on the market that has elevated the process from merely taking pictures to capturing video. With Lava C.O.S. 3D-in-Motion technology‚ doctors can capture and simultaneously view continuous 3D video images to create a digital impression on a touch screen monitor. The dental industry is the first to benefit from this amazing breakthrough in digital imaging … the art of taking impressions in the dental office will never be the same." - 3M ESPE LavaCOS - 3D-In-Motion

    HOT OFF TODAYS PRESS:

Hopes of cancer breakthrough with treatment using electromagnetic fields to shrink tumours

Scientists may have discovered a breakthrough in treating cancerous tumours by using low-intensity electromagnetic fields. Patients taking part in the clinical trials were given a spoon-like antenna told hold in their mouths which then delivered the magnetic fields to their bodies.

A small number who were treated three times a week showed significant improvements.

Some of the tumours shrank and others stopped growing, while healthy cells in the surrounding tissue were unaffected.

The findings showed that low-level electromagnetic fields at precise frequencies, ranging from 0.1Hz to 114kHz, halted the cancer growth in a small number of patients. Different types of cancer responded differently to different frequencies.

The exact reasoning for the process was not detailed in the journal but it is though that low-level electromagnetic fields interfere with the activity of genes in cancer cells. In certain cases it affected the cancers ability to grow and in some cases the tumours began to shrink while others stopped growing.

The form of treatment may be controversial considering recent claims that technology such as mobile phones and electricity pylons can trigger cancer and leukaemia.
But Pasche insisted that his experiments used a lower intensity of electromagnetic fields that were between 100 and 1,000 times lower than those from a mobile phone.

"The exact reasoning for the process was not detailed in the journal..."

Well for starters it's common knowledge that pulsed electromagnetic field therapy repairs cellular damage in tissues with good blood flow and increases cellular oxygen absorption so given this fact alone science has already proved this therapy out-performs standard of care.

This study I'm sure will be have the monopolists and scare mongorers and concerned - they'll have to come up with some other nonesence and as for the Daily Mail Reporter who editored the story, one might assume they were doing ok until the last sentence suggests they forgot what the therapy was being studied for ;)
