    smoking gun for me is still the next bad report regarding credit/banks....even though we will no doubt continue to get discouraging news on the US economy its a continual bombardment of reports practically every day....sort of numbing effect.....fear/crash scenario will come from a surprise turn for the worse in the banking sector (perceived or real)
