it reads to me and i know it will be known tommorrow anyway but -

they are in the Pinkerton trail? and have encountered salt in varing degrees of thickness in Barker and Pinkerton sections (not inbetween)to this point that was thicker than expected....

man this thread has thrown me esp regarding all this talk of salt. ie: being in between sections...

Pinkerton is expected to be 300-400ft thick depending weather salt of varing degrees of thickness is encountered.

at 200ft per day x 2 days they would probably still be in pinkerton -

after-all Alkali Gulch, Cane creek and Pinkerton is all dolomite. major gas interval was found in Dolomite. anyway -

the depth is the only guide at this point - they may still be in Cane creek and dont know it? imagin that....

Leadville could be at a depth of 16500ft
