Isn't it like completing the sale of your old house and purchase of a new one (at least here in the UK) .
Not only do you have to be ready but everyone in the chain has to be ready . Surveys have to have been carried out to the satisfaction of the lenders etc .
When everything especially final approvals and finance is in place waiting the agreements can become binding effectively all together or in very short succession .
Leaf's JV partner Claeris have experience of Malaysia and Claeris are also familiar with delivering projects according to internationally recognised methodologies in stages .
My hope is that a lot of the work which has been done will be considered valid in other countries and be reusable so the next biorefinery project will be quicker to get off the ground .
It is a worry that at the moment it is basically a single project company but that will change hopefully .
Now the project they've got going in Queensland on the other hand sounds very much about academic studies , pilot plants and naval gazing and doesn't have the aire of a proper commercial scale endeavour about it . The QLD govt don't sound serious .
If you got in at anything like the current price you did very well .
