On the second picture you have shown, the side to side gap where the tiles overlap, appears wider at the top ?
Some tile realignment might be needed, especially if you have had someone doing work on your roof at some point ?

Yours appear to be glazed tiles (?), but the unglazed clay tiles are like a sponge.
They can be wet, but not drip.

Sometimes these clay tiles can be bowed and if that's on one of these tile runways and bowed in a downward direction, you are more likely going to get leaks on heavy rain periods.

Thanks wotsup, we had the insurance inspector in yesterday, they might get an inspector to have a look at the roof, if they dont i will anyway, it seems none of the houses like mine in area have sarking, insurance inspector was flown up from Melbourne, he said no houses in Melbourne have sarking?, anyway a few of the neighbours had same thing but not as bad, its the first time in 5 years and we have had some ripper storms, lots of folks are way worse off so than us so i wont complain, but if i built a house i would never have a tile roof, and thanks again..
