Mate, I have done similar, but with the difference being I actaully off loaded the majority of my portfolio with large gains except MNC so took a loss on MNC to off set taxable gains. Will def be buying back into MNC at these levels (hopefully) once I am more confident with the overall market. Stocks like MNC will always be hit hard in down turns like this but also have the potential to run hard once the market is back on track and some well timed drill results.

PS. I still hold SFR and there is no reason why MNC can't do similar, thats why I'm here. all IMHO
