Unfortunately that linked article is guilty of the 'misinformation' that's been plaguing Provenge regarding it's survival rates. Stating "average" rather than "median". The interpretation of which paints Provenge (wrongly) in a less than ideal light.
IMO, this seems to be the most significant issue with the poorly perceived cost/benefit ratio.
Hopefully (when the time comes) Prima release PR friendly efficacy stats that close the loop for the layperson and remove the possibility for misinterpretation.
