Hope you understand that foreign brokerage firms can keep "extra" shares for themselves. One must realize they are in the business to make money. It should be noted that transactions between firm are a sort-of 24-5 gig if they so desire. And just because a buyer places an order doesn't mean it will be filled. Generally a brokerage firms buy in vary large numbers and over the cap they need to keep their clients slaphappy shelling out trading fees. So next time you see large volume trades stop and think who might be doing this and why? But hey, we still tradelightly in the US of A.
