I have never day traded.
I see long term investment differently as you earn dividends from real business, trading a ticker on the basis that someone will pay you more for it later. That's real risky to me.
After all it's a zero sum game a wealth transfer from skillful traders to poor ones but mainly to brokers clipping the ticket each time regardless. If you ask me it's better to be patient and get rich slow.
