The other end of the market has also seen a good level of activity.
Acting on behalf of Valad, Sanderson Weatherall, jointly with King Sturge, have recently either let/sold more than 90,000 sq ft of space on Aycliffe Industrial Park. This includes a letting of 29,000 sq ft to Premo Fab on Coatham Avenue and we have recently exchanged contracts with a major manufacturer for a similar sized building which is currently undergoing a major refurbishment.
Other deals include buildings to Sowell Associates, Strong Auto Centres, Goodyear Dunlop Tyres, Manissa and Kudos Print, all underpinning confidence in the regional industrial market.
There is still some way to go in filling the voids on Aycliffe Industrial Park, but things are starting to go in the right direction after a difficult 18 months.
