    As a team the salary cap was $58.679M. Not a lot considering a superstar player is half that. But the NBA has so many rules and taxes if you breach it so it really is complicated. Look at Brooklyn Nets team aggregate salary. Sometimes teams are willing to pay luxury taxes to go overboard. I guess if you can afford it why not.
