My son and I went to a lecture at UNSW this evening about Engineering and what the future may look like.
'Carbon Crime' and the possible repercussions was a big theme. Rising temperatures if no changes are made now (up to 7C) compared to about 2C if changes are agreed to at the Copenhagen.

My take is that innovative companies that can address these issues will have a receptive audience.

Also, my understanding is that MSC people are in Asia at the moment. The last time they were overseas, the announcement re the $USD10 million deal was made soon after.
