Firstly let me say whilst i think mexico has a great deal of potential my main focus with sbn has always been china.
But saying that im as frustrated, actually let me change that im over being frustrated re mexico if it happens it happens the company has done all it can over one month ago when the final request of information that the mexicans had asked for was provided by sbn.

Since then we can only assume (since we havent been told its been rejected) that they are still evaluating our application.
We also know that corruption is rife (dont know about customs department) in mexico and thanks to vins post a while ago it appears that there is a few mexican companies that are cracking the sh--s re the govt importing a testing device and are doing there utmost to discredit the device.
So the following is a very left field thought on the whole process which i thought of whilst walking the dog tonight so please dont read anything more into it than that as it is probably way off the mark but here it goes.

Put yourself in whomevers shoes that is in charge of approving/rejecting our application.
Lets assume that i am being offered bribes / maybe threatened my competing companies wanting me to reject the application which i feel uncomfortable with because on the other side i have the federal govt and the state of NL breathing down my neck wanting to approve the application.
So what i do is continue to ask the applicants for numerous pieces of information so that not only is it seen im covering all my bases but it also draws the process out which will hopefully take the pressure off me from the other companies wanting me to reject it.
(i might be even looking for a reason to reject it but maybe i cant find one)
Then 1 month after receiving all the info i need i have to make a decision. Question is not what decision but when to announce it.
NOW if i was that person i would annouce it when its least likely to get press coverage or the people i piss off are least likely to see it becasue they arent in the office.
Now when would that be?
During / leading upto the Xmas New Year Break!!!

Again please dont read anymore into this than some random thoughts i had.
I AM NOT PREDICTING that we will have an announcement these are just thoughts i had whilst walking my siberian husky and are probably a load of manure
