Venezuela is not a socialist country - there leaders just use it as a bs label, if it was really socialist all its citizens would be living comfortably, instead its a corrupt dictatorship, you need to read more mate and use your brain and eyes,

The majority of South American countries are corrupt due to socio-political systems imposed by the Spanish or Portugese, again and outcome of corrupt colonialism.
