Too soon, JIMHO. Polstar isn't pulling its weight & Volvo offload the lion's share of its Polstar holdings to Mothership Geely, the restructure hasn't been finalised as of last month (heads to roll in Hangzhou). CATL's JV with Togg allows them a EU presence (& tariff loopholes).
Polstar needs a Performance battery boost, otherwise, is a sheepish Volvo EV - in wolf's kit. Which is why the market gave it the brush. Where do Mercedes come into this. Well you'll need to put Farasis in the mix here, and Smart EVs [a Geeky Mercedes JV]. The tech will Trickle down, just not tomorrow as the impatient are demanding. Gorillas have their own schedules, and they don't react to shareholder's demands on HC.
