Why should everyone's taxes fund public schools, yet those with very large incomes (many of whom send their kids to private schools) be paying taxes for public schools and yet their own kids get no public funding, under your plan. It has never worked that way and never should. Ridiculous idea.

Why do my taxes pay for schools when I have no kids? Could I let the government know I am going to opt-out of paying the education portion of my taxes?
