ALP reduced tax cuts for people who didn't really need them & gave them to those that did.
i.e the people who are more likely to spend them on inflationary discretionary items got less & the people more likely to spend them on non discretionary less inflation impacting items got more.

So yes the revised tax cuts vs S3TC would be expected to have a less inflationary impact.
Basic economics even for the RWNJs.
