Last two weeks of sittings before the long winter parliamentary break. No chance of most budget measures being passed before parliament rises.
Also probably no chance of most budget measures being passed when parliament resumes and the new Senate is officially installed in late July or August.
Everyone will be letting off some steam especially retiring Senators.
