    you have absolutely no understanding or for that fact even a clue on how wages work.

    The only thing the government can do to improve wages is ensure low unemployment and minimise red tape as it allowed for sector efficient - low unemployment means less workers thus to attract workers they need to rise wages in a competitive environment.

    Other then that the government cannot do anything to improve an individuals wage (unless they work for the government)

    It is the biggest lie being run at the moment that 'Albos ALP will help improve wages' you cannot improve wages without increasing 'costs' as staffing a business cost money. Now sure you can 'fund' the aged care sector more which i guess is a 'good idea' but that money has to come from somewhere otherwise the government has to take on more debt so long term it is not a sustainable model to artificially improve wages in any sector.

    I suggest you take a basic economic class - the current government is actually doing a fantastic job when it comes to unemployment if you want higher wages pick the government that has unemployment at near record lows as this will ultimately improve wage growth.
