Think about the Ru/Uke war: The Ukrainians are doing as much damage [depending on the definition of "damage"] to strategic Russian infrastructure away from the front with far less collateral damage, as some RAF and USAAF bomber raids where the "good guys" regularly lost 10% of their bombers with their 7 man crew. No Uke crews are being lost.
