Hi cso1, did V3 really say (write) 'sqeezing'?
Let's not go over all the old ground again.
What's the point of bringing out all the negativity in the dying days of a rights issue? OK, the company is 'coming the hurry up' as we used to say on UK racecourses when the price of the favourite suddenly shortened five minutes before the 'off', but it always had the desired effect, the punters would move. The GIP version is to drag up some three weeks old news about another tin shipment, what's wrong with telling us about it three weeks ago? The only thing that would motivate me, in a big way, would be some juicy drilling results from Eritrea, but that's probably too much to ask.
The issue facing holders now is whether at 0.6c, is it worth another punt?
Short answer is: I don't know. EVERY issue to date has been followed by another at a lower price, in between those I've been a small but steady buyer, this time I'll admit to being nervous because at these levels, and given the ramifications of the massive dilution attached to this one, it really is do or die for long term holders - you've got to be in it to give yourself a chance of getting out, but it is an act of faith, as I write this, to put in serious money.
I'm undecided, today, but willing to keep an open mind until the last.
Finally, and trying not to be flippant, did anyone notice that GIP was one of the top ranking stocks today, up 40%? A few more days like that and we'll soon be back in the money.
