Miningco Straits Exploration (JV with Argonaut) has launched legal action so it can begin exploration on Lake Torrens.
The company has filed legal proceedings in the Environmental Resourses & Developemant court against the KokathaUwankara native title claimants, seeking a declaration that mining operations on the national park can go ahead.The Traditional owners are contemplating a judicial review of Aboriginal Affairs Minister Grace Portolesi's decision to authorise exploration on the site.The Kokatha Uwankaara is the only registered native title claim over Lake Torrens and they are negotiating with the State Gov for a consent determination of native title. The Traditional Owners fera mining will destroy the environmentat heritage of future generations.

Is this good or bad for argonaut as I am thinking of buying.
