Let us not forget the Macquarie shorts during the GFC. Shorted by arguably the world's most famous shorter- Jim Chanos. Mac bank has had a history of growth by acquisition. It is rare for the shorter to be targeted by class action suits. That in itself should tell you something. My average is about 3 dollars ( including share purchaes). Interesting time coming up.
