I have been trying to research this properly but it is very hard with the amount of information available. It seems to me as though Savanna has brought proceedings against he minister, joining BMN as a respondent, seeking an order that the minister did not have power to grant the license and that it is null and void.

There is very little information explaining which provision of the act that it is relying upon, whether it's application is for consequential orders that it be granted the license etc.

I have had a look at the act and the powers of the minister is pretty wide. Would be very interested to know on what precise grounds the application is proceeding.

The fact that the directors bought recently suggests that Senior COunsel's opinion is that proceedings against BMN are bound to fail.
