I find it extraordinarily hard to believe such a sudden turn of events could have unfolded between the Chairman's positive words on Friday, and the disastrous announcement on Monday, so i think this topic is at the very least worth discussing. We may or may not get full disclosure of what has happened behind the scenes, but key questions for mine are did they withhold information or misrepresent the company's position in previous weeks?
The end result for the share price could well have been the same, but perhaps we could have avoided such a savage and sudden drop, giving holders time to make an informed decision, and probably walk away with less damage.
