Aircore drilling continues at Area D with further assays pending
Legend Mining Ltd (ASX:LEG) has received aircore assays from a further 16 drill holes from the current program at Area D of its Rockford Project in the Fraser Range of Western Australia.
Results include 19 metres at 0.23% nickel, 0.33% copper and 0.02% cobalt from 52 metres to the end of the hole.

Legend managing director Mark Wilson said: “We now have a significant >0.2% nickel and >0.1% copper footprint around holes 151 and 183 including a >100-metre wide zone of visible sulphides in the same host rock as the Nova-Bollinger orebody.
“These are outstanding outcomes from our ongoing aircore drilling program.
“The further confirmation of a second mineralised intrusive around holes 167 and 230 is another positive outcome and supports the premise of multiple prospective intrusions at Area D”.
95 holes completed so far

Aircore drilling at Area D is targeting aeromagnetic and gravity anomalies is ongoing with a total of 95 holes now completed.
These recent assays show disseminated magmatic sulphides over a 100+ metre wide zone in the same host rock as the Nova-Bollinger deposit.
Aircore drilling set to continue

The aircore program at Area D still has more targets to test while aircore drilling is planned to test other select regional targets with the Rockford Project.
A geophysical review of all electromagnetic (EM) data is ongoing.
