Not really a rabbit out of a hat.
The US will turn around only when enough ppl believe the market has fallen as much as it possibly can and the rash of suicidal failing coy's has finally ended (or close enough to ended).
Then the same ppl that are saying stay out of the market will start buying coys, only this time they won't be telling you or I to get in first.
