.Billybongo, my understanding from newspaper reports is that the police had a witness who claimed that BH had sex in the ministers office with another male (not BL, presumably the police witness) on more than one occasion before she chanced her arm with dimwit BL. This evidence does not appear to have been presented to the jury. Also, newspaper reports said that BH’s first psychiatrist’s notes stated that BH had some sort of sexual fantasies involving Parliament House. This does not seem to have been presented to the jury.I suspect Drumgold filtered out this evidence and then aborted the trial when it seemed that his tampering with evidence might leak out. IMHO Drumgold wasn’t worried about BH’s mental state, he was just trying to avoid his wrong doing being exposed.
