I'll give you guys a couple of pieces of free information, as I'm feeling generous, having had an excellent week [thanks for asking]:
    1. The Pt Pirie to Broken Hill Line was changed to standard gauge in 1970.
    2. Leigh Creek coal would be about the worst thing you could put in a blast furnace. Blast furnaces need metallurgical coal, a completely different grade. There are ample deposits of metallurgical coal under the escarpment just west of Pt Kembla. Indeed, Liberty Primary Metals own a mine at Tahmoor, not far from Pt Kembla and supply coking coal locally to Bluescope. They also bring it around by sea from Pt Kembla to Whyalla to put into their own blast furnace there. No mineable deposit of hard coking coal aka metallurgical coal, has ever been found in South Australia.
    3. Gas smell is good right? That's what you're looking for. The more the better. Gotta keep those home fires burning. Maybe one day youse will have as much gas as Gina.
    Nah, probably not.
