Sales is an intellectual and journalistic light-weight, totally out of her depth. Chris Uhlmann is quite the opposite, a smart, savvy journalist, always ahead of the pack. He's become almost invisible since Sales came back from leave. She even "does" the big political interviews.
It says a lot about ABC management that Sales is allowed to continue in the role; heading its "flagship" current affairs program. I suspect the ratings are plunging more than FMG.
