Funny that is what happened to me when I got burnt by that rule also, ie. we're available at lower price the next morning. I know it makes no sense but basically the asx won't let punters like me or you achieve intraday hush or lows at end of trading days irrespective if there are shares for sale. Just remember that creep rule if you ever need to use it. Using your example you should next time put a buy order in at 8 cps (if this was a traded figure during that day) and then a few minutes later increase it to 8.1 - that would have done it.
Anyhow best of luck - I see in the uk the shares are up about 15% already!! Take care
