    defabstar,

Just spit-balling here...(BTW doi you know how many times I have said that word "spit-balling" in the last two weeks to people to denote the tossing around of ideas? It's really a redneck American term and I have been saying it repeatedly to annoy people. Very humourous).......anyway just spit-balling and would like to benefit from your gargantuan intellect, as would I am sure the others on this thread.

Here's my "version" of a possible capital transaction, you tell me if it sounds like a plan or if I should just keep spit-balling:

Media reports have been going on for a long time about this "trans-pacific separation". What if CER is broken up into two entities, one with 400 odd USA properties listed and domiciled in the USA, and one with the 30 odd properties listed and domiciled in Australia. Neither entity would require any FX hedging whatsoever. And each entity could on their own merits undertake to raise some (or a lot) or capital and we as investors get units in both entities.

    Viable? Your thoughts?
