the 50,000bls was "used" in drilling operations, ie its not, and no where near what they need to recover after the horizontal leg was completed.
Drilling mud is recycled throughout the drilling phase and goes through "the shakers".
Waste cuttings are stored/ disposed of/ recycled.
Be lucky if there was 5000bbls left in there.
So calcs based on 50,000 are at least out by a factor of 10, if not more.
