You're definitely right mate, negative equity is not a place you want to be (for very long); however when I was researching the company I put it down to the rather expansive corporate ownership structure - with so many wings of the parent coming (YNB) comes more (or you could argue less) risk.

You will see a fair amount of argument throughout the last few months in regards to financing/sales/etc in these forums (you will note YNB sold out of a venture at a loss a short time ago); and maybe if you are still nervous you should wait until the next 4C?
