News this morning that SBM and GMD are in further talks about a tie-up, with GMD also about to grab DCN’s mill at a knockdown price.
Hard to work out what this means for KIN but at the very least it would put us lower down the priority list for ‘near-term development’ discussions with SBM, you would think.
Might a larger, combined entity then bid for us, once it has got through the initial consolidation? Or is KIN going to be a bystander to the action and just focus on increasing its MRE?
My guess is the second option, as long as Delphi is ready to fund the hunt for a larger deposit than KIN has found so far.
Not sure when the raise is coming for that, maybe Q3, after the resource update.
